The Kalavati Marketing logo
This logo was created by the extremely talented designer Krissie Lou.
A logo is at the heart of any new brand... it must embody the core values, the meaning of the brand and also have the longevity to last the test of time.
The brief given was simple... I wanted a logo that represented fierceness, creativity and strength with a hint of playfulness. I also wanted something super colourful that represented me and the way I approach projects.
The feather on this logo is inspired from the Phoenix - the mythical bird that represents the power of transformation.
The name Kalavati is very special.
Kalavati was my Grandmother's name.. someone who was the rock of my family and the inspiration for us to stay strong during difficult times. Her teachings have been passed onto the new generations within my family and to this day.. when faced with difficult times we sit there and think.. What would Kalavati do?
Kalavati the name itself also has a beautiful meaning. It translates from Hindi to mean someone who is artistic / talented within the creative sector.
